Words To Live By is the personal blog for me, Jeanette Johnson. An educator for 33 years, I have learned that, when it comes to trying to influence or shape others, relationships and stories are everything. So that's what this site will explore: the nature of relationships and how to grow them, and stories from my life, mostly my life as an educator. I don't at all think that I have relationships "right" (oh my, far from it), but that's exactly why this blog matters - to share my experiences with building relationships and finding stories, in all their utter failure, mediocre successes, and occasional glory.
